2:00 - 5:00: Zills versus sagat, and rhythms. Learn the differences between the 2 types and how they are played.

10:00 - 1:00: Yasmin will teach for 1 1/2 hours Ghawazee and some Oriental shimmies. Followed by Artemis teaching Romany dance for 1 1/2 hours.

Friday 17 Feb 2012:
4:00 - 7:00: Basics in Turkish and Egyptian styles. $75.00 Both teachers will trade off the Egyptian and then the Turkish techniques from body part to body part.

8:00 - 11:00: History lecture: Enjoy your dinners while you learn about the origins of belly dance to the present day. We will follow the lineages for both countries (+ a new film "Ghawazee Hips - Follow the Bouncing Butt") with guaranteed Ah HA! moments.
