The French Video Club, our retail location, opened in 1992 in Bethesda Maryland, a suburb of Washington DC with over 100,000 French-speaking residents. Here is a map to our store.

Video France, the distribution branch of our organization, was started in 1994.

Francevision, a weekly television show about French art and culture, aired from November 1994 to January 1999.

In 1995, we purchased the French music service known as Le Hit Parade and began selling CDs at the French Video Club. The following year the Francevision website was launched, featuring catalogs and music reviews.

The Present Today we have scaled back our music business to concentrate on our core activity, bringing French movies to North America in the NTSC system. There are now many wonderful music sites on line that carry an enormous selection. fnac.fr and amazon.fr are only a couple of examples. Francevision operates The French Video Club, which offers for rental more than 5,000 titles in French, including children's films and a broad selection of films from France. We also have a large selection of DVDs for sale. Don't see what you're looking for? Ask us anyway. You never know, we may just have what you're searching for in our stock room somewhere. You can also check out our Amazon store listed under Francevision2.

Our Promise to You: We do not sell (or give) our mailing list or database to anyone. Our website features safe and fast online ordering with purchases carefully packaged by hand and shipped from our store in Bethesda. We also encourage phone orders on our toll free line: 1 (800) 835-7537. We believe in personal contact - and prefer it ...

Thank you for your support,
